What’s Happening in Texas Digital Learning—and How Can We Be Part of It?
Friday, October 16 | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM Central
Online via Microsoft Teams
What’s happening in online and digital learning across Texas? More importantly—how do we make sure we’re part of it?
Join the Texas Blackboard User Group (TBUG) for a special conversation with our friends from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).
We’ll explore current digital learning initiatives, upcoming conferences and professional development opportunities, Digital Learning Week, statewide projects, and other opportunities Texas institutions should have on their radar.
But this isn't just a “here's what's happening” session. We want to talk about how to get involved.
Where should LMS administrators and digital learning professionals be watching for opportunities? How do institutions get connected to statewide initiatives? How do people get invited to committees, projects, and conversations? What should we be sharing with our faculty and campus leadership? And where could THECB use the experience and voices of the TBUG community?
This will be a casual, interactive conversation, so bring your questions, ideas, experiences, and yes—your Texas-sized opinions.
Come ready to connect.
TBUG brings together LMS administrators, instructional designers, online learning leaders, faculty support professionals, and others doing the day-to-day work of digital learning across Texas. This is our opportunity to strengthen the connection between that work and the statewide initiatives supporting it.
Find out what's happening. Find out where the doors are. And let's figure out how we can walk through them together.
