During the 2014-2015 school year, 12,500 Acer laptops were deployed to all third through eighth grade students in the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District. Watch to learn how the Educational Technology staff of three found a cost-effective solution for engaging and training their teacher community that resulted in: The ability to consistently and uniformly train 900 teachers across 23 schools in new and creative ways Leveraging the skills of individuals throughout the school district to crowdsource best practices Saving over $8,000 in printing costs Eliminating printing, packaging, and distribution of costly 3-ring curriculum binders by moving to the cloud Becoming a resource for external community of surrounding districts and the County Office of Education
