Now in its sixth year, the University of Sheffield's Technology Enhanced Learning Festival returns this summer for a packed schedule of workshops, talks, case studies and discussions on the ways technology and innovation can be used to transform learning and teaching across our programmes. TELFest invites delegates from institutions across the sector to take part in what promises to be another exciting line up of workshops, talks and events.
It provides an environment to celebrate current practice and innovation, and showcase how technology is used by our academics to enrich and enhance the student learning experience, with two keynote speakers this year - the University of Hull's Professor Becky Huxley-Binns and FutureLearn's Nigel Smith.
This year, we are happy to be hosting our first TELFest evening social of the 3rd July at the Treehouse Board Game Cafe. This gives delegates further chance to network with colleagues in an informal setting after the day's programme.
There are three days of TELFest, from the 2-4 July, and the BbMHUG will be on Wednesday 3rd of July at 1:30-3:30pm.
