Customizing How Students See the Gradebook

I'm curious if there are methods by which I can customize the student's view of the gradebook.  For example, I offer several individual homework assignments, each worth a grade.  The average of all those homeworks contribute to their overall grade.  To date, I am creating an Average Column, which takes the average off all Assignments.  I have similar Average Columns for the other portions of the grade.  However, I wonder if the display is confusing to the students.

In a perfect world, I'd like to be able to rearrange and format things a bit, and/or include horizontal dividing lines to help group things together

Is there any chance this might be possible?
