The links with the same names seem to go to the same places, but with slightly different URLs. Any idea how to delete one of these?
Kevin, you have potentially got yourself in a situation, even though you are just addressing smart views. I assume you did a course copy from existing to existing, am I correct? And when there is content of the same name in destination and source courses, it simply adds an addition instance, including the grade center columns. So now you have 2 assignments called week 2 and 2 grade center columns called Week 2 assignment. The easiest way to retract your self is to do a bulk delete of all menu items which are affected and do the course copy again. To get to bulk delete, go to control panel, Packages and Utilities. It lists check boxes next to your content.
If all you truly want to do is remove the duplicate smart views, go to grade center, manage smart views and delete the excess smart views. I've helped clean up some post course copy messes, so if I over-reacted, I apologize.
No assignments were duplicated. Just these two links that go to the same place.
Yes, it was existing to existing course copy.
