Caliper event store authentication?

Hi, all. We're looking at implementing Caliper analytics, and we're at the point of setting up a test event store. So far, though, we haven't had any luck in getting anything to work with the exception of the test one Stephen Vickers has at the ceLTIc Project.

I'm fairly new to this sort of API access, but I'm suspecting it has to do with most of the event stores I've been investigating (e.g., Learning Locker) needing basic key:secret authentication, and Blackboard looks like it's only sending an API key.

Am I right in thinking that, and if so, are there any plans to expand the Caliper Event Store settings page to allow for entering authentication information? (If not, please feel free to set me straight.)

Oh, and on a related note: a couple of the event store systems have required having an X-Experience-API-Version header set in the request--does Blackboard do that, either on the original server or somewhere in the AWS stage?
