We received a question about organizations in Blackboard and are trying to find out if something is possible. The user would like to create an organization with about 6-7 users. The enrolled users would need to have Leader (Editor) privileges to the organization, however they would only have editor access to certain folders inside the organization. Example - Professor Smith could only upload files to Professor Smith's folder, s/he could only view Professor Johnson's or Professor Brown's folders. Does anyone have experience with this?
I tried to accomplish this by creating a group within the organization, but only Participants can be added to a group. I created an Adaptive Release rule and only added one person to the Membership but everyone with Leader access can still see all folders.
