I'm curious -- who answers questions posted here? Is it just other users, or does someone from Blackboard actually read these and respond?
Hi Peggy, you'll usually find replies are made by other users, although you will see the occasional response from someone in Blackboard. You should be able to make support tickets with Blackboard too, the link is support.blackboard.com
I've only seen the issue you identify when a course is copied without enrolments, but with announcements ticked - that will often remove the announcement meta data. I've not seen this happen after an upgrade. Probably best to raise a ticket with Blackboard.
Thanks, Matthew. But I don't see any place to make a support ticket there. It just tells me to ask the Help Desk at my institution.

Peggy - your institution did have a support case with Bb Technical Support at the end of last year. The notes indicate this was an issue with custom language packs. Will follow up with you directly.
