We have been developing a REST integration using the DVM. We have multiple developers/QA folks using the vm to make sure our integration works. To make everything work well, I have changed the installed cert to one provided by letsencrypt so that we are able to test it from our production system. It works great if you visit it through with Chrome (https://blackboard.verificient.com:8877/).
Unfortunately, when I try to connect to it with python requests, I get the following SSL error.
"SSLError: [Errno bad handshake] [('SSL routines', 'SSL3_READ_BYTES', 'sslv3 alert handshake failure')]
It works if I disable verification, but I can't do that in production, and since we also want to use this for continuous QA it needs to be able to work from our production codebase. Any advice on what I can do to work around the SSLError?
