In case you did not catch the Behind the Blackboard article update last week, I want to share a release that we are very excited about: Usage Reporting (Analytics-on-Analytics) delivered as a part of Intelligence Core v 4.2 to describe usage of all reports, across all supported report providers (Pyramid, SSRS, and integrated Learn reporting) for all modules.
Here are some of the areas you will be able to affect with Usage Reporting:
- Promote analytics adoption by understanding how much your reporting ecosystem is being used, in what ways, and by whom.
- Support institutional best practices around analytics use through an understanding of peak reporting periods for comparison against institutional recommendation for use in decision-making.
- Support system administration through the ability to monitor trends in report performance and return execution status details.
For me, the most exciting thing about this functionality is that the idea was initiated here in our Community Site ideas space by members of our community. We love hearing your thoughts, so be sure to head over to our Blackboard Analytics Community Idea Exchange and contribute an idea, browse, or vote.
