Generated CSS - modern.css

We are in final preparations to move our Blackboard Learn 9.1 to responsive theme over the summer.

We have made sucessful versions of the them on 2 dev environments. We have moved this over to the test environment and I now notice there is a different CSS file that is taking precedence over my changes in app_nav.css and is also overriding options from the GUI when customising the Brand.

It looks as though this generated CSS file should have the GUI elements, however there are elements that havent been passed through. Is there a way to force this generated CSS to be updated? Does it get cached?

The CSS that is taking precedence is: rooturl//branding/colorpalettes/BRANDNAME/generated/colorpalette.generated.modern.css?v=3100.0.1-rel.117+6ef

Thanks

Ross
