Update Row_Status in CourseMemberships REST API

In looking through the REST API for course membership, it appears that there isn't a way to update a course user's row_status attribute.  I've successfully updated the availability attribute through a patch call to/learn/api/public/v1/courses/{courseId}/users/{userId}. However, this leaves the course user record in a state where it's marked as unavailable but still enabled (Row status = 0).  In our instance of Learn, we update both the availability flag to 'N' and the row status to 2 when disabling the membership record.  This is done to prevent the user from showing up in the gradebook.

Does anyone know of a way, using the REST API, to update the row status attribute for a course membership?  If not, does Blackboard intend to expose this attribute anytime soon to the REST API?

Thank you.
