Is there a way without using grading schema to round up to whole numbers?
I believe the displaying to 5 decimal places is a known issue that was introduced. I believe Bb calculates to 2 decimal places but displays to 5 for now.
I don't believe there is. I have the faculty add .5 to min value if they are rounders.
Curious, why wouldn't you want to use grading schema. I'm trying to understand what you would like to do.
This is a question posed by academic staff so can only guess that they want students to see a calculated total of the assessments in a similar way to how they would be viewed within the student portal for awards.
Sadly, the answer is there is no way to round off calculated totals in Blackboard. I am not sure I know any instructor, professor, or teacher who takes averages out to five places past the decimal but we get totals of 98.12345 in the grade displays.
The display to 5 decimals is for the instructor view in the full grade center. Students only see it displayed to 2 decimal places in My Grades.
Example: 79.25% (would be nice be it rounded the display to 79%).
This is not according to our experience!
