I remember that I have seen an option that you can show a page (or not) before the loading of modules is completed.
But I can't remember where that was. i need it for testing purposes. Does anybody know what I am talking about?
Hi Ruud,Might it be the setting within a module, which you are looking for?"Allow Asynchronous Loading"
You can access this by choosing module-properties.
Thank you Rick,
You put me right on track. That was indeed what I was looking for.
It did not solve my problem, but at least I know that changing asynchronous loading does not effect the speed of page-loading (in my case).
My pleasure. As you know speed issues can be caused by many things...
But in my case I noticed a difference in the availability of the page, info on that page and the modules on that page. The Modules kept always loading when the page was already there. Hence, I was looking for the asynchonous toggle option. Now I know that my next step is to investigate the network infra.
Go get em
The delay in de page loading (20 sec.) was caused by 2 images, part of the current theme/brand.
Although they were part of the Theme, they were not copied to the integration server. Replacing them in our test environment was no improvement, but replacing them in the production environment solved the issue and improved the delay.
Very recognizable Ruud
