Is it possible to extend SIS Franework to create my own objects? Does SIS Framework have an open API?
You can add custom headers to the integration settings, but it's not possible to actually send that data anywhere besides the existing fields. Theoretically, as a (fairly complex) workaround, you could store the data as an XML or JSON string in one of the unused fields. Worth a try.
I don't think so, but what are you trying to do? It's possible there may be an existing solution.
I'd like to store some user's metadata in a custom table and persist data as SIS Framework works. Is it possible?
Thanks Cliff Weinstein, it nis something.
I'll try it.
It is sad but Blackboard remove the integration extension point in April 2014. It was badly done because there was no previous deprecation notification but the package was removed directly.
Here you can see the package: blackboard.platform.dataintegration.mapping
and here the difference API Differences between Building Blocks API version 9.1.140152.0 and Building Blocks API version 9.1.201404.160205
I think Cliff Weinstein suggestion is a good start point.
