Instructors hidden courses appeared in their course list. Anyone can help?
Here you go, Knowledge Base Article Number: 000034627. BB support team has already been worked on this issue and the fix is targeted for Q4 2016 release.
Courses that are marked as unavailable either by the direct flag, date restrictions, or term restrictions will always remain visible to instructors in the course list/my courses module. This allows the instructor the ability to set up their new course if it's prior to the courses start date, to access records of past courses if needed, or to initialize a copy/export of the old course in order to build a new course if your institution permits this ability.
If the course is disabled, it will no longer be visible to the instructor, but then nobody including Sys Admins will be allowed to enter the course. If you want Sys Admins to still be able to enter the course, but prevent the instructor from seeing the course in their course list, you'll have to change the status of their enrollment in the course. By changing the individual's enrollment to either unavailable or disabled, you will achieve the desired result mentioned above.
Thanks for your reply. I got updates from btBB team this is one of the known issues. (Bugs issue).
@ Kyle Wright There is a privilege listed below that can be turned off in the instructor course role (or any course role that can be customized). If it is restricted, unavailable courses may not be listed in their course list.
Course/Organization > Access unavailable course
Hi Kyle Wright,
Thank you for the additional info. I got updates from btBB team this is one of the known issues. (Bugs issue).
Farah Kamaruzzaman Can you get the article number? I only see an old bug Article No.: 000034402 (Unavailable Courses due to date Restrictions Display in the My Courses Module when the Module is Configured to not Display Unavailable Courses) and it was supposedly fixed with April 2014 release.
