For instance I want to print the enrollment for the summer 2016 term?
It would probably be a lot easier to have your DBA run a query to provide you with that information, as there is no printer friendly way in Learn's GUI to print a full roster like that. With a SQL Query you can at the very least get the output in an excel format.
Here is a simple query to provide you with a list of Enrollments Sorted by Terms, Courses and Roles. Your DBA can modify the query further to get more detailed results if you wish. Should be ran under the BBLEARN Schema.
select t.name as "TERM_NAME", cm.course_id, cu.role, u.user_id
from course_users cu
inner join course_main cm on cm.pk1 = cu.crsmain_pk1
join users u on u.pk1 = cu.users_pk1
join course_term ct on ct.crsmain_pk1 = cm.pk1
join term t on t.pk1 = ct.term_pk1
order by t.name, cm.course_id, cu.role;
Thanks I just wanted to make sure I was correct before I informed them I
could not pull the rosters without going into each course and printing from
there. Do you know about Blackboard Analytics? Can it be done in there?
Most of what I see I will have to click on each student.
Unfortunately I do not know enough about our Blackboard Analytics offerings so I cannot say whether there is a better option there in the GUI for that or not. If anyone from our Analytics team is browsing this forum, they might be able to speak further on that, or you can always submit a ticket and get an answer on that question that way.
Sonsauhray Price and Huy Nguyen,
We have Bb Learner Intelligence (formerly known as A4L) and in the Course At A Glance SSRS reports you can pull rosters.
However, this is accessed more from advisors and it outside of Bb Learn as far as access for us. Faculty would need separate access to view SSRS reports.
From here, you could download a printable PDF to view.
