is there any way to store custom data in blackboard. I want to store a checkbox value in it based on that some action is performed in future? pls rpl asap
You have a number of choices here. Assuming this is a system-wide configuration setting that you are trying to store, you could, for example:
It is possible the latter option may not be possible in the SaaS environment; the normal recommendation I think is to use the database.

We do not have a webservice to create custom database objects.
In order to do this you would need to create a B2 with the schema or use the custom data handler to use our default tables where user data can be saved.
Then if you want to update it via an external dot net service you would have to create a custom (Java) webservice in Blackboard to update the tables.

In that case I cannot see why you would need to store the data within Blackboard - you could store it on your own server; there is none of your code resident on the Learn server which would necessitate local storage.
