I am now able to run some ASR reports, however, I just have a code for one report. What is the best way to learn how
to do coding or is there a class or anyone who can help? Thank you!
there is an ASR User Group within Coursesites, with regular meetings.
Contact Irwin Manes (firstname.lastname@example.org), and he can get you access to that site. There's a lot of good resources there, including queries and schema.
I tried sending him an email and it bounced back as undeliverable. Is there someone else that could help me get access to the ASR group in Coursesites?
Mary Jane Blystone,
Unfortunately, Irwin is no longer working for Blackboard.
As far as I know, that the Coursesites content has also moved or is moving to Bb Community.
I think the query content can be found on the community in this group which you can join:
Bb Learn Data Reporting User Group
I am tagging Isaiah Andrea, Brett Stephens, Bill Vilberg in case I am missing anything since they typically have run monthly sessions on ASR & Open DB topics.
Thanks Toni! ^_^ Happy New Year
Please come and join us at the user group, see the in the response from Toni Pennacchia
May I also recommend if you are completely new to SQL, here is a good site to help understand the syntax. We frequently discuss sql query building on our monthly meetings so hopefully we can bring you up to speed.
