How do you override test scores?

  1. When a test has been deployed and a situation occurs where you need to override a student's earned score, do you prefer to override on the scored submission itself, ie. on the test, or do you prefer to leave that submission true to how it was originally scored and override the grade in the grade book?
  2. To further complicate things, what do you do when you have allowed multiple submissions on a test? If a student has made three submissions and the final grade is calculated as an average of the three attempts, do you only override the overall grade for that test in the grade book or are there situations where you'd want to override at the individual submission level? Do you ever need to override scores for BOTH a submission and at the overall grade level for a test that allows multiple submissions?
