a clean slate

Question asked by sp0076512 on Feb 1, 2016

At our institution we have been using Blackboard for almost 15 years, now we are preparing for a clean install (starting with a totally empty DB).

We have cleaned the Database where we can in the past, but there still is a lot of orphaned data and old tables etc. which we are unable to be remove. From the technical side, a clean installation is pretty simple, but how to prepare your organisation for this? We wonder if there are any institutes who have done this (and how often) or have good reasons to not do this. And how did your (key)users respond to this?
