Grade Center Columns are Duplicated During SIS Course Copy - clarification on this article

We are looking to move to the SIS Framework next year and we are also looking to move to either October 2014 or Q4 2015 releases but we would likely be sticking with flat file.

Has anyone experienced this newly listed issue (see below) and/or can someone on the Blackboard side clarify is this is for all course copies or just using the course copy command?

Let us know.  Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Issue Description: Courses Copied through SIS Flat File duplicates the Total/Weighted Total columns in the Grade Center.

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Log in as System Administrator
  2. Go to System Admin > Click on Data Integration
  3. Go to Student Information System
  4. Create a new Snapshot Flat File Integration and Upload a Feed File
  5. Submit
  6. Go into Course
  7. Grade Center > Full Grade Center
Observed Behavior:
Via a flat file, the copied course has the sources courses "Total" column, as well as an additional "Total" and "Weighted Total" column that the source course did not have.

Expected Behavior:
Grade Center columns are not duplicated in the copied course.
