Am I missing something? Or is an upgrade coming? Using AppShare to work in real-time while participants watch is a very effective means of teaching and sharing, so I am disappointed in this one aspect of Ultra.
Are you using Chrome or Firefox? When I use Chrome with the app sharing extension installed I can share out my machine pretty easily for doing that. When I use FireFox, I can only share out pictures or documents. I'm assuming that an app sharing extension is "in the works" for Firefox.
I was able to see a real-time app sharing session through Collaborate Ultra, but as Tyson mentions that was while using Chrome. Was your experience using Chrome, or "not Chrome" (since that seems to be the divide)?
I think the point you're trying to make is that you can see the application the moderator is sharing and what they're doing in it, but participants cannot actually interact with the application - such as having a Word document open and a participant being able to type on the page. You can do this in the non-Ultra version...
