Browser Language Translation Add-ins - Cheating?

Hi All,

As you probably know, some browsers provide language translation add-ins.  For example in Chrome, if you were to go to a webpage with content in another language, Chrome would provide a pop-up asking if you would like to translate the page.  If you were to choose translate, Chrome does a great job converting everything into English.....including, for example, a Blackboard test that is intentionally in a different language to test students' comprehension (e.g. for a German class).  Obviously for students whose first language is not English, this might be a helpful feature for general education courses, but for foreign language courses it encourages cheating.  How have you addressed inappropriate use of the translation add-ins?

Thanks,

Lauren
