Let us know which Blackboard mobile app you have enabled for students to access Learn on the go.
I didn't think there was a way to enable Bb Student or Mobile Learn specifically without also giving access to the other. We have the Mobile Building Block enabled. My understanding is that students can then use either Bb Student or Mobile Learn. There isn't a setting that I know of to turn each app on or off. Please let me know if I am missing something.
Hi Trina - Yes, the mobile license allows your students to download either Mobile Learn or Bb Student. To make sure students are having a great experience on Bb Student, you want to make sure you are on Bb Learn 9.1 Q4 2015 or later and Mobile B2 94.9.1 or later. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks Lauren. I am wondering if maybe the survey question should be reworded then? It asks which app we have enabled. So any school that is using the Mobile B2 would need to answer "A combination of both".
I'm with Trina, since there is no way to restrict which mobile app is allowed that I am aware of we allow all of them. We don't promote Student though.
We recommend students transition from Bb Mobile to Bb Student, but have no mandate.
The student decides.
We are promoting Bb Student, but so far our traffic logs suggest that the most popular app is a plain old mobile web browser pointed at the LMS.
We point students to Bb Student
