Bb Faculty Support Sites
My colleagues and I have been in the process of re-organizing our original Bb Faculty Support Site created by previous technologists, and in doing so, I attempted to use the new sites through Google and ended up creating a whole new site for our department. After approaching it by attempting to organize the site to create multiple access points, I might have unintentionally increased confusion and frustration. I'm fairly new to my position, so that's the last thing I intended to do. Since I have seen a ton of great sites and support, I am mostly blogging to see if anyone else out there has some suggestions or feedback on making the site more manageable and usable for faculty needs rather than creating a whole new mess?
Bb Tool Tips
Additionally, we have decided to do some weekly tool-tips sessions for Blackboard on Wednesdays in the Spring, and one of my colleague's mentioned doing a Beginning of Semester Check-list and possibly ending the semester with an End of the Semester Check-list. I found quite a few resources in my search and thought I'd share them in this same blog for those of you like myself that might want to get your own ideas before created a customized check-list for your faculty members. Below I've listed a few of my top ones that have appeared in my Google Searches, but honestly, I'm more of a visual learner, so to me the ones with less texts and more visuals are the best!
