Put Javadocs in the Maven repository?

Discussion created by markmclaren on Sep 6, 2017

I'm new here so please forgive my ignorance.  This is my first question.

I found the Building Blocks API Javadocs page, which is great (I particularly like the API diffs report).

What surprised me is that the Blackboard Maven repository does not contain the Javadocs.  Many Java libraries I work with include the JavaDocs in the Maven repos.  It makes Javadocs integrate well with the IDE.  The distinct Javadocs page approach is a little disjointed as I have to leave my IDE to see it (please don't make me leave my IDE! ).

e.g. compare:

Central Repository: com/google/guava/guava/23.0 with Index of /content/repositories/releases/blackboard/platform/bb-platform/3100.0.0-rel.107/

I just thought it would be simple to implement and would make a real difference to developers.
