Have the ability to configure the Ultra Base Navigation Landing page links on the left menu, be able to remove unused links or rename links to fit our University needs.
this is feedback we have received also from our early adopters and we are considering how this should be implemented alongside input from our Design colleagues. To offer further background, some of the research that our Design team has done with students and instructors has yielded a need to ensure consistency of experience for these end users, and implementing the structure as we have done offers this core UI. As we look to engage more with end users and review further ethnographic research, we will review how we can offer further flexibility for institutions to personalise the UBN and other aspects of Learn Ultra.
Yes, I agree, it would be very useful to be able to turn off certain items in the left-hand menu, at least on an Instituitional level. For example, the Messages tool has never been used in our courses. Staff make use of the Email tool instead. This is potentially going to create more work for teaching staff as it will be an additional area they have to make time to check and monitor on a daily basis.
Thanks for raising this Raul.
