Please add emailed/stored Submission Receipts for Tests/Surveys, just like Assignments, in Original Course View, with a submission time stamp and confirmation number.
2nd! This would be extremely helpful in cases where students are saying " Blackboard ate my test"
Yes, that would be a good thing to add. See that people requested this last year too and seemed to have been ignored.
Test submission receipts
Has the system for us to make suggestions that you may or may not act on depending on our votes been suspended?
Agreed this would be useful
+1, think this would be very helpful for students.
I agree. This would be very useful. Providing more transparency and accountability which Faculty can access would be a great benefit.
Yes this makes a lot of sense for consistency!
Also why don't assignments have a similar checkbox like tests do: "Do not allow students to start the Test if the due date has passed."
+1 Just curious as to why this wasn't done the same time the enhancements were made for the assignments area.
John Lane Because I did not think about online testing when I submitted the enhancement request several years ago after dealing with the third or fourth student in a week claiming he had turned it in, etc, etc etc. I wanted the student to have to have proof from the system that the assignment had been turned in successfully.
Oh, I hope this wasn't taken as a dig. I thought this came from the Bb developers. I am glad to see this submitted as a new feature as in th case of assigment receipts. This is much needed. Thanks.
+1 A big help to instructors and administrators! A unique id which allows the instructor to validate the submission would be big in the current time of photoshopped screenshots, etc.
+1 Very useful for avoiding complains by students.
It would be great also to have a summary receipt for Instructors.
Great shout. +1 to this
+1 We have requests from our users for this too.
+1 - this would be an awesome feature.
+1 -- Please! Please! Please! Having a receipt would definitely stop the scammers that say "I know I took the quiz". I spend hours printing out reports showing that students did not click on a test link. No receipt, no test. This option in assignments has been very useful!
