You can do this by clicking on the contextual menu (little downward arrow on the right of the name of the group set) of the group set and click on "edit groupset membership" : then you get the list of each group of the group set with the corresponding members, and can make changes if you want, or not if you don't want.
I'd also recomment, when you create a groupset, to tick the "create smartviews" box : this will enable you from the grade center to have views filtered for each group. And you can "favorite" those smartviews so they'd be in your left menu as an instructor.
