Currently the audio output for Ally reads out "heading 1, paragraph" tags etc which may be useful if you cannot see the document. What we suggest is might also be good would be an additional audio version that does not read out the tags, but purely reads the content - like an audio book would. This would be of great benefit for those with specific learning differences that affect short term working memory and processing speed, such as: dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and AD(H)D. The reading of title, heading 1, heading 2 etc. would be very distracting for the majority of these students and this would interfere with their comprehension of the text and mostly likely lead to constant rereading (re-listening) in order to glean meaning. Having this as an additional option in the Alternative Formats would be ideal.
