Users want to strikethrough text and associate a comment with the strikethrough.
Yes! This is needed!
Yes indeed, this has been used frequently by some instructors.
This is a simple way of indicating disagreement or errors when marking. It would be a nice feature to add.
I disagree that strikethrough would make a nice feature. From a learner standpoint, I find it offensive and unhelpful. If there's anything that shouldn't be there, the instructor should, instead, highlight and suggest deletion with reasoning. You really need to wear several hats and more importantly the learner's hat before deciding something like this. Thank you!
Yes, this is needed and important to help show students words or phrases that should be removed.
Just finished my 1st grading with the new product and really needed and wanted strike out. I teach tax law and if a student says something that is incorrect I want to cross it out.
This is essential in correcting papers. Without such a tool, students in online learning environments are not getting equal feedback compared to students in traditional, face-to-face classes where hardcopy papers are graded.
It's very important to me to be able to correct the writing as I am grading. Taking strikeout away is stripping out an essential grading tool.
Can we please get this added ASAP? My ability to give proper feedback without being able to strikethrough, highlight, add text or draw on submissions is diminished. The semester progresses, and with each subsequent assignment, I am still unable to do these things. It seems overwhelmingly like we have a consensus, which is not surprising. Removing grading features was never going to be popular.
The removal us this function had a severe impact on the ability to provide easy to find and follow feedback for students. Removing this function was a huge mistake.
Yes - this is needed.
This was extremely helpful when we previously had this functionality. The current functionality is a major step backward.
