Hello all.
I teach Technical Writing online. One of the things I tell my students is that they should incorporate an email signature with their title and contact information that they append below their name on an email. When I send an email through Blackboard to my students, I cannot automatically append a signature. I like to model appropriate professional communication practices for my students.
This seems like a very simple thing to do that would have a great impact on those of us who teach professional and/or technical communication using Blackboard.
Thank you.

I came across this suggestion when I searched for instructions on adding a signature in Blackboard. The lack of such a simple, necessary function is surprising. Moodle and every other LMS I've used includes a signature function.
I've created a macro that automatically adds my signature when I open Blackboard's email tool. Whenever users have to rely on workarounds like this time and time again just to provide basic functions, the software is lacking. Blackboard is expensive enough that we shouldn't be wasting time working around what it should be providing.
