When we try and run an *Attempt Statistics* report in Grade Centre for a test with random blocks, we get the message: **Statistical information cannot be provided for random blocks. **

Is Blackboard looking at changing this and making this report available for tests with random blocks? We can run an *Item Analysis*, but a summary of all of the questions, in whatever order, in the Attempts Statistics format would be useful.

I think I know what is going on and I have argued with 2 PhDs on this point. The calculations for discrimination and difficulty are statistically invalid unless all questions are given to all students. You may randomize the order, but all students have to get all questions. You would think that if we can get people to the moon and back or to the bottom of the ocean and back we could figure out a way to do discrimination analysis on question banks with random subset delivery. Any PhD candidates out there willing to go for this? It is apparently unsolvable.
