Nearly ten years ago, we created a free, course delivery option that would empower K–12 teachers, college and university instructors and community educators around the globe to create online learning environments where they can post course materials, communicate with students, encourage collaboration, as well as assess and improve performance.

Today, we're excited to say the CourseSites platform has done just that—by enabling nearly 75,000 instructors, at over 12,000 institutions in 159 countries to create and teach courses online using Blackboard Learn. We're extremely proud of the CourseSites platform and the opportunity it has afforded so many educators worldwide to actively deploy courses online.

New Platform Will Allow Users to Experience the Most Recent Version of Learn

Now, to continue to provide our users with an unparalleled and quality user-experience, we will be transitioning CourseSites users to a new platform that will allow them to experience the latest and most recent version of Learn.

Educator Preview will serve as the new platform for CourseSites users and is currently undergoing development to equip instructors with the features and functionality needed to teach and deploy courses online. Due to the prominent brand recognition of CourseSites and added course delivery viability, Educator Preview will be rebranded as "the new CourseSites." We plan to launch the new CourseSites in late June.

We're excited to begin this next chapter and looking forward to providing all our users access to a quality digital learning environment which will allow them to experience our suite of products such as Collaborate, SafeAssign, Ally and our mobile apps.
