Summary

As the Master Teacher of my institution, I have to observe classes online and a common thread in almost all of them is the lack of collaboration.

Interestingly, teachers say they know how to do collaboration effectively in face-to-face classes, but not online.

The wiki in Blackboard Learn is a fantatic tool to help students put ideas together and create teamwork in the online environment.

Attendees will:

  • Become familiar with the necessity of collaboration in an online class
  • Educate themselves about how to see the participation of the students in a wiki, and possible ways to grade them
  • Learn two different ways to use the wiki for collaboration
