Learn how we harnessed the down-time of our student workforce to assist faculty with accurate video closed-captioning. In order to streamline the caption editing process for faculty, an internal procedure was created to ensure course videos were accessible for all learners. The presenter will describe how the academic and instructional technology teams collaborated to provide faculty with the resources to succeed in providing accurate learning materials. An in-depth discussion of each aspect of the process will provide participants with the knowledge to build accessibility support for their faculty, including requesting captioning assistance, assigning designated captioners and prioritizing videos. We’ll be highlighting the closed-captioning features of TechSmith Relay and including opportunities for sharing, questions, and demonstrations.
