The information below is from the Fall 2018 PghBUG meeting held on October 5, 2018.
If you would like to start experimenting with Blackboard Ultra, you can do so by visiting https://new.coursesites.com/. If you’d like to begin planning the implementation of Ultra Base Navigation or the move to Ultra, reach out to your CSM to discuss timelines.
We will be having a follow-up webinar on Blackboard Analytics in the coming weeks. More details will be provided when a date has been set.
Colleagues in Connection
You should have received an email from Jessica Diehl on Friday with information on Colleagues in Connection and the Pittsburgh Regional Faculty Collaborative, both great resources for networking with local faculty and staff and learning new techniques to teach and train. Please refer to Jessica’s email for more details, but if you have any questions or would like to join, you can reach out to Jessica at Jessica.email@example.com.
We have a Blackboard Community site. To sign up, follow the instructions found at https://duq.box.com/v/JoinPghBUGCommunity.
Educational Technology Tool List
One of the resources on our community site that we encourage everyone to use and contribute to is the Educational Technology Tool List. The list, which can be found in the Featured Content module of the PghBUG community site, is a great resource for seeing what tools are being used at our institutions.
Spring PghBUG Meeting
CCAC will host our Spring PghBUG meeting in April. A specific date and more details will be provided in a future email.
