Colleges and universities are increasingly engaged in new and differentiated retention tactics. This Lightening Talk discusses how increasing student engagement with various Blackboard tools in an offline class can increase retention.  Going paperless in a traditional classroom setting creates challenges and forces students and faculty to utilize technology, and Blackboard specifically,  for content delivery as well as collaboration and assessment. Learn how Blackboard increases active student learning  facilitating retention.
