The Ultra Course experience features an alternative look and workflow while offering the essential features needed for course delivery. However, since the Ultra Course experience does not yet fully mirror the robust functionality of the longstanding Original Course experience, our university needed a process to assess the readiness of a course for the Ultra Course experience. Because instructors have differing needs and wants from Blackboard Learn, we designed a process to help faculty determine if the Ultra Course experience is suitable for course delivery.This presentation will explain the process by which Instructional Technology staff help faculty determine whether or not to convert an Original course to Ultra. The process consists of five stages that incrementally educate faculty about Ultra while also engaging them in evaluative tasks. This process is only required for faculty interested in using the Ultra experience for an upcoming course.
