From Alfred State SUNY College of Technology

Kevin Scott, Culinary Arts Instructor

Chef Scott trains and instructs students in a culinary setting with a hands-on approach. He also instructs students in the classroom with different courses such as Food Safety, Nutrition, Purchasing and Cost Control, and Menu Planning. Since graduating in 2000 from Alfred State, Chef Scott has worked as a Chef and Food Service Manager in different industries, including Health Care and Campus and School Services.

Lisa Boyle, Instructor

Ms. Boyle is currently an Instructor in the Health Information Technology (HIT) program. She graduated from the program at Alfred State College, then worked in the healthcare field for 20+ years. During that time, Ms. Boyle taught for the HIT program as an adjunct both on campus and online. She returned full time to Alfred State in 2013 to work in the completely online HIT program.

Luke McIntosh, Assistant Professor

Mr. McIntosh is currently an Assistant Professor in the automotive trades, and is a graduate of Alfred State College. He has worked in the automotive field as a master technician and service manager for 21 years.

Danyelle O'Brien, Director of Online Learning

Mrs. O’Brien supports online initiatives, faculty, and students. A graduate from Niagara University, she uses her education and business background to be an advocate of online initiatives at the College. She has presented and published on the topics of effective technology use in the classroom, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and designing learning environments.
