In the spring of 2016, the University of Arkansas system contracted with Blackboard to provide access to the Insights package for all 12 UA System institutions. The Blackboard services included consulting and training in planning, Learn & Collaborate, outcomes assessment, and analytics. The panelists, from three UA system institutions, will share their experiences in implementing the outcomes assessment tool specifically and the challenges and opportunities in meeting assessment goals discovered during the consulting phases and implementation process. Topics discussed will include institutional governance for assessment, general education assessment processes, resource and training needs, and campus change leadership. Each University team will share its project objectives, lessons learned, assessment findings, and plans for the future. Attendees will leave the session with ideas on how to incorporate Blackboard outcomes assessment into their student success initiatives.
