The complexity, jargon and promise of analytics have become very familiar to us in recent years. There are many paths you can go by. But what is a realistic goal? How do we get there? How long does it take? Are analytics really being used? Are they useful? This session will present the story of the journey taken by Charles Darwin University to implement Analytics for Learn. It winds through the thinking, planning and stages of the road taken, presents key lessons, and provides insight into the usage and perceived usefulness of the reporting suite. Incorporated in this discussion is our vision for the road ahead. And it’s NOT about more reports! Charles Darwin University is a lead institution in the establishment and use of Learning Analytics in Australia and has been involved in several national learning analytics projects. Come along and hear our story.
