ePortfolios have recently been added to the AACU list of high impact practices. While ePortfolios are powerful learning tools, assessing them for program assessment can be onerous. Blackboard Outcomes Assessment makes collection and assessment easy for both administrators and faculty assessors. The convenience of online assessment, Blackboard rubrics, and statistical calculations by Outcomes Assessment makes this form of program assessment much less difficult. In this session, the presenters offer a case study of a program for whom Blackboard Outcomes Assessment made a significant difference in the buy-in and ease of ePortfolio assessment.
