Co-teaching in a virtual setting requires creativity, flexibility, and most importantly co-planning. This session will detail how an elementary education teacher, a special education teacher, and an intervention specialist intentionally plan and instruct in a virtual classroom utilizing BB Collaborate. A fully inclusive model was utilized to close the achievement gap for students beginning the year 1-2 grade levels behind. Using a station model, instruction was individualized through guided reading, guided math, differentiated interventions and individual practice. Structure will be shared for best practices with regards to co-planning time, data driven instruction, and a stations based approach utilizing BB Collaborate.
