ANZ (Australia/New Zealand) User Group:

Please give a round of applause to our latest BUG of the Month group, the ANZ BUG! They’ve been around for a while, created October 22, 2015, and thanks to their fearless leaders Schelly Gardner and Mark Northover they have become a valuable group to the Australia/New Zealand region. They attribute their collegiality and success to their impressive longevity. While browsing their site it doesn’t take long to see that they are a very active BUG.

The ANZ BUG prides itself in taking full advantage of their listserve, which ensures that all their members are kept up to date with an ongoing thread of information. They are also diligent in updating their institutional details. This is great because it enables the group members to see who is likely to have similar experiences, in regard to their version of Learn, and who uses the same or new building blocks. Their monthly meetings are well attended, but they record them for good measure. Aside from monthly meetings, ANZ includes a “Show and Tell” session once a month where an institution highlights something they’ve done that is innovative. This is a wonderful way to drive deeper adoption and to encourage others to innovate as well. All are encouraged to update and review member practices so they can bring comments or questions to the meetings.

If you haven’t looked at the ANZ page yet, check ‘em out! It’s a great place to get some inspiration for your own BUG.
