Instructors see time on task and their ability to create engaging digital content as barriers to investing in creating rich online courses. Making that content accessible to people with disabilities can sometimes feel like it is adding to the time on task and reducing the ability to make content engaging. In this session we’ll share a simple and reusable framework for considering accessibility in all aspects of your face to face or online classrooms. We will walk through how to think about your pedagogy, how to assess your content, and how to evaluate the technology you want to use to create engaging student experiences for everyone. We’ll even given you a chance to try it out on your own course.
