Attention Community Members…this is a game changer!
Are you ready for greater insight into your fellow Community members? Do you wish to learn how to better utilize the Community Site from some of our top users? Would you like to get your ideas out to the rest of Community? Then you’re in luck! Community is now introducing the Community Corner, a customer-centric page created about you, by you.
Once a month the managers of the Community site will select a dedicated community member to “spotlight”. The purpose is to say thanks for being such a great member and to learn a little about how the selected member is utilizing the Community site. This section will also feature a “Spotlight Hall of Fame” where you can access an archived list of previous spotlights.
Then there's our customer blog. Blogging is a way to share ideas, start a conversation, tell your story, and make your voice heard. Whether you're new to blogging or a seasoned writer, check out some of our tips to help you get started. Write a stellar post, and you may just end up under our "Featured blogger" section.
Lastly, we understand that within the larger Blackboard Community, there are smaller user groups, our BUGs, who form regional networks to communicate and share in their Blackboard experience. BUGs are taking off internationally, and that's a good thing - so we can't wait to show BUGs in the U.S. how BUGs in Europe have formed a cohesive, working system.
These are just some of the ways we at Blackboard want to say thank you! Thank you for an amazing year of beta, and thank you for many years to come. I look forward to our expanding group of professionals engaging in our ever evolving Community site.
