1415 – Grade Centre Configuration for FE Courses – Chris Boon, City College Norwich
Chris looked at how the Assignment and Grade Centre tools in Blackboard Learn have been used at City College Norwich to track, record and monitor grades and submitted work for BTEC, OCR and See Resources folder for UAL courses. Powerpoint
1500 – Recording and reporting online learning hours – presentation and discussion - Richard Gibbons, Dudley College
With the changing landscape around the use of e-learning and e-technologies in further education, especially with the added emphasis provided by FELTAG (Further Education Learning Technology Action Group), monitoring students activity online is becoming an increasing focus, almost requirement. This agenda item introduced what challenges we are faced as technology users, trainers and leaders and how we best use the Blackboard system to report on the critical “Percentage of Online Delivery” question for our ILR returns – i.e. round the table discussion point.
