Differentiating instruction for students is a reality in all classrooms, K-12. With Blackboard's ability to group students within a course, differentiated instruction becomes that much easier across all content areas whether you are grouping students for literature circles, a research projects in social studies, or even group science fair projects. Once assigned to a group, instructors may choose which digital tools they want their students to have access to. Inside the group, students have the option to customize their group page. Students feel a sense of community, creativity and collaboration within their group and their instructor can easily monitor their work and participation in a smart view in the grade center.
